Enhanced AI Resume Upload is a Pro feature that uses best-in-class AI technology to extract EVERY detail from your resume with incredible accuracy. Unlike basic imports, it captures all work experience, certifications, projects, volunteer work, awards, publications, languages, and career highlights. It works with PDFs, images (JPG/PNG), and even scanned resumes.
3. What is the AI Resume Scanner?
The AI Resume Scanner is a Pro feature that analyzes your resume and provides a score (0-100) with a letter grade (A+ to F). It identifies your strengths, highlights critical issues, and gives actionable suggestions to improve your resume. The scanner checks for professional summary quality, quantifiable achievements, experience depth, skills count, and contact completeness - helping you create a resume that stands out to employers.
4. How accurate is the AI resume extraction?
Our Enhanced AI Upload uses advanced AI models specifically designed to follow instructions precisely and avoid hallucination. The AI extracts information exactly as written in your resume without making up data or missing details. It handles text-based PDFs, image PDFs, and direct image uploads (screenshots, scans, photos) with high accuracy.
5. Can the AI read scanned or image-based resumes?
Yes! Enhanced AI Upload works with scanned PDFs, screenshots saved as PDFs, and direct image uploads (JPG, PNG, WEBP). The AI can read text from images and extract all your information accurately. This is perfect if you have an older resume saved as an image or screenshot.
6. How do I create a resume?
Creating a resume with ResBuilder is simple. First, browse our templates and click 'Use This Template' on your favorite. You can start from scratch or import an existing resume. 10. Are ResBuilder templates ATS-friendly?
Absolutely. All our templates are designed to pass Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). They use proper formatting, standard fonts, and clear section headers that ATS software can read.
11. Can I download my ResBuilder resume as PDF and Word?
Yes! Every resume and cover letter can be downloaded in both PDF and Microsoft Word (.docx) formats. Both formats are included in the free plan with no watermarks.
12. How do I cancel ResBuilder?
You can cancel anytime from your Billing page. Go to your account, click Billing, and click 'Cancel Subscription'. You'll keep access until the end of your billing period.
13. What's included in ResBuilder Pro?
Pro ($19/year) includes 50+ premium resume templates, 4 premium cover letter templates, advanced color customization, the ability to upload up to 5 photos, and save up to 5 resumes and cover letters. Free plan includes 12+ resume templates, 1 free cover letter template, and all core features.
14. What's the difference between ResBuilder Pro and Lifetime?
Pro is $19/year (recurring), Lifetime is $49 one-time payment. Both include the same features - 50+ premium resume templates, 4 premium cover letter templates, advanced customization, 5 photos, 5 saved resumes and cover letters. Lifetime means you pay once and own it forever.
15. Does ResBuilder offer refunds?
All purchases are final and non-refundable. That said, if you're experiencing any issues with your subscription or have concerns about your purchase, we're happy to help. Reach out to us at support@resbuilder.com and we'll do our best to make it right.
16. Can I save my ResBuilder resume and come back later?
Yes! Pro and Lifetime users can save up to 5 resumes and cover letters. Click 'Save Resume' or 'Save Cover Letter' in the wizard, give it a name, and load it anytime from the 'Load Resume' button.
17. Does ResBuilder support US Letter or A4 format?
Both! You can choose between US Letter (8.5" x 11") and A4 (210mm x 297mm) formats before downloading. This is available for all users on both free and paid plans.
18. Can I use ResBuilder on mobile?
Yes! ResBuilder works on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. However, we recommend using a desktop or laptop for the best editing experience.
19. Does ResBuilder sell my data or show ads?
Never. We don't sell your data to third parties and we don't show ads. We make money from optional Pro/Lifetime subscriptions, not from exploiting your information.
20. How do I add a photo to my ResBuilder resume?
Photos can be added in the 'Heading' step of the wizard. Click 'Add Photo to Resume' and upload a square photo (max 10MB). Photos are stored temporarily for 1 hour.
21. Can I upload my existing resume to ResBuilder?
Yes! Click 'Import Resume' when selecting a template. Upload your PDF, DOC, or DOCX file and we'll extract your contact information. You can then edit and customize it with any template.
22. What happens if I cancel my ResBuilder subscription?
If you cancel, you'll keep Pro access until the end of your billing period. After that, you'll be moved to the free plan (12+ resume templates, 1 cover letter template, unlimited downloads) and your saved resumes and cover letters will remain accessible.
23. How do I get ResBuilder support?
