Photo Requirements

  • File types: JPG, PNG, or WEBP
  • Max size: 10MB per photo
  • Recommended dimensions: Any aspect ratio works, but square photos (1:1) look best

Privacy & Security

Your photos are stored temporarily (1 hour) and are never shared with third parties. We use secure signed URLs to protect your privacy.

Temporary Storage

Photos expire after 1 hour for your security. Download your resume within this time to preserve the photo in your PDF/Word file.

Troubleshooting Photo Upload Issues

Photo won't upload

  • Check file size is under 10MB
  • Make sure it's JPG, PNG, or WEBP format
  • Try a different browser or clear your cache
  • Check your internet connection

Photo looks blurry or pixelated

  • Use a higher resolution photo (at least 400x400 pixels)
  • Avoid heavily compressed images
  • Try uploading the original photo instead of a screenshot

Photo disappeared after 1 hour

  • This is expected - photos are temporary for privacy
  • Re-upload your photo if you need to keep editing
  • Once downloaded as PDF/Word, the photo is permanently embedded

How to remove a photo

  • Go back to the "Heading" step
  • Click the "Remove" or "X" button on the uploaded photo
  • Your resume will update without the photo

💡 Pro Tips for Great Resume Photos

  • • Use a professional headshot with good lighting
  • • Dress professionally (business attire)
  • • Smile naturally and make eye contact with the camera
  • • Use a plain, neutral background
  • • Crop to just your head and shoulders
