Resume Not Saving?
Troubleshoot save and load issues
Important: Save Feature is Pro Only
The ability to save resumes is only available with Pro ($19/year) or Lifetime ($49 one-time) plans. Free users can download their resumes but cannot save them for later editing.
Common Issues & Solutions
1. "Save Resume" button is grayed out or missing
Problem: You're on the free plan
Solution: Upgrade to Pro or Lifetime to unlock save/load features. Go to Billing to upgrade.
2. Resume saves but doesn't load
Problem: Browser cache or connection issue
Solution:
- Refresh the page (F5 or Cmd+R)
- Clear your browser cache and try again
- Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
- Check your internet connection
3. Can't find saved resume
Problem: Looking in wrong place or logged into different account
Solution:
- Click "Load Resume" button on any wizard step
- Check that you're logged into the correct account
- Saved resumes are tied to your account email
4. Hit the 5 resume limit (Pro users)
Problem: You've saved 5 resumes (Pro plan limit)
Solution:
- Delete an old resume to make room for a new one
- Load a resume, edit it, and save over the old version
- Download old resumes before deleting them
5. "Error saving resume" message
Problem: Server or authentication issue
Solution:
- Log out and log back in
- Check that you're still subscribed to Pro/Lifetime
- Wait 30 seconds and try saving again

How to Save & Load Your Resume
To Save:
- 1. Make sure you're on Pro or Lifetime plan
- 2. Click "Save Resume" in the wizard header
- 3. Give your resume a name (e.g., "Marketing Manager Resume")
- 4. Click "Save" - you'll see a success message
To Load:
- 1. Click "Load Resume" button (on any wizard step)
- 2. Select the resume you want to edit
- 3. Your resume will load automatically
- 4. Continue editing from where you left off
